2nd Workshop of AIM-Health project

The Second Wokshop of the AIM-Health project took place at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) from 17 to 21 of August 2026. The event, held in the Department of Computer Science (DC/UFSCar), was attended by the project coordinators, Rodrigo Wilkens and Helena Caseli, as well as the principal investigators – Vânia Neris, Taís Bleicher, Heloísa Frizzo, Mateus Monteiro, Paula Souza, Eloize Seno, Ivandré Paraboni, Ariani Di Felippo, Roana Rodrigues, and Paula Cardoso – and students enrolled in the project – David Leucas, Gabriel Garcia, Grasiane Silva, Graziele Lima, Evandro Ribeiro, Fernanda Assi, Caio Ribeiro, Luís Fernando Lourenço, Vinícius Lima, Cristhyan Oliveira, Isabela Rodrigues, Julia Pasquini, Mariana Oliveira, Pedro Possebon, and Vinícius Blanco.

Over the course of five days, researchers from the AIM-Health team presented the projects they are developing, engaged in discussions about future directions, planed joint activities and scientific papers, as well as participated in a group dynamic. The event was an opportunity to strengthen the team and the activities currently being developed.

The event, held in the Department of Computer Science (DC/UFSCar), was attended by the project coordinators, Professor Aline Villavicencio and Professor Helena Caseli, as well as the principal investigators – Professor Vânia Neris, Professor Sylvia Iasulaits, and Professor Heloísa Frizzo –, students already enrolled in the project – MSc David Leucas, MSc Gabriel Garcia, MSc Grasiane Silva, Isabela Rodrigues, and Gabriel Spolon –, invited researchers – Professor Ariani Di Felippo and Professor Marco Idiart – and invited students – Dr. Paula Souza, Evandro Ribeiro, Nicole Cardoso, Pedro Possebon, Guilherme Oliveira, Júlia Pasquini and Mariana Marques.
